Testimonials “I don’t think I can speak highly enough for the house, the communication, the value - everything about our stay worked out perfectly. Mariah, the on-site manager, was kind and helpful. The house was fully furnished & clean and the beds were comfortable. The house was stocked with everything we needed, including beach chairs, toys, towels, etc. 5 stars!” — Christine, December 2021 “Fantastic location! Easy walk to beautiful beaches. So helpful to have a few sets of snorkel gear and beach supplies on hand! Kitchen is set up great for making meals at home.Exactly what we were hoping for.” — Michelle, December 2021 “We love the treehouse! What a great experience. We did not want to leave! The steps weren’t bad at all even with 2 young children. The view from the top makes it all worth it. Did yoga on the deck daily while my husband went for a surf. Close be to great eateries and the scenery and nice locals can’t be beat. Mariah, the onsite property manager, was amazing and so helpful. Thank you Mariah! We would absolutely stay here again. Home away from home.” — Emmy, December 2021 “The treehouse is amazing! The sunset view is to die for.” — Michael, October 2021 “Big thank you to both Gail and Mariah! Both were amazing hosts and the house is very beautiful! From the time you wake up to a mesmerizing view to when the sun goes down and it’s time to say “goodnight Oahu”.Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting North Shore in Oahu. Also, please consider going through their recommended places to visit, they have great recs listed!” — Omar, September 2021 “This is a treehouse where the stairs are a work out for sure. There’s only air conditioner units in the bedrooms. The rest of the house, for us, was a little too hot. Gail was prompt and efficient with her answers and direction. We truly enjoyed our stay.” — Linda, September 2021 “If you’re looking at this place, book it!Amazing views, stairs are not bad at all and great location. Our experience couldn’t have gone any better the house has everything you need and more.Mahalo!” — Yazmin, August 2021 “Absolutely loved this stay for our group of 8 people. The views were amazing. The liveliness of the home with the geckos were great! Beaches, activities, and food were within 10min away. Only heads up i would provide to future travelers- make sure you take everything with you at check out! Our family forgot some items & within one day, they were thrown out :(” — Marisa, August 2021 “Amazing view! The home is so well appointed that it feels like you are staying at a friend’s place rather than an AirBnB. Tons of kitchen equipment, beach towels, snorkel gear, water shoes, coolers, etc. Kitchen is great, with newer appliances and the laundry room was so handy for all of our towels and swimsuits. Couches have been updated since the listing photos and fold out. Navigating the steep driveway in a minivan was a little tricky, so we opted to park at the bottom of the drive, which worked well. Plenty of parking available, which was nice when we had a babysitter come for the morning. The stairs were a bit challenging, as we area larger family with lots of luggage/gear and needed to haul groceries upstairs, etc, but was worth it for the view. Loved the sandy foot washing station half-way up the stairs! Great hiking, beaches, and Ted’s Bakery close by.” — Catherine, August 2021 “It was easy enough finding our way there. The (Hidden by Airbnb) maps link in email sent us to the wrong address but once we figured that out and updated it with the correct house number there was plenty of signage and with the map provided it was super easy to find and park. Parking is on a hill up a long driveway which is slightly tricky but not overly hard. We had a back-up cam in our rental vehicle, but had we not had that it would have been much harder. The stairs to the house are easy enough and there is a house for spraying off your feet/shoes along the way which was super helpful after walking back from the beach. The view from the room is porch at the top is beautiful and worth the stairs. It’s in a very woodsy area so there were tons of little geckos around the outside. The interior is also super nice, all the little geckos were trying to break in. There is plenty of room for a large group, it was very spacious for our group of four. It was nice have the closet with beach items (towels, snorkels, chairs), we put them to good use! The only warning with bigger groups is keep in mind there is only one bathroom, so there was often a line in the morning. It’s decent size bathroom though, so multiple people could use it to get ready. The only “negative” is the lack of AC in the main living space, granted the information is up front about this. There are individual units for the bedrooms, so sleeping was no problem but it got pretty stuffy in the main area. They had two fans but one of them didn’t seem to work very well. We opened the windows at night and that helped some, but during the day we mostly hung out in the bedrooms. This house it pretty close to Haleiwa for dining and shopping, but during evening hours the 7 mile drive can take (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes. It’s a pretty drive and we didn’t mind, but we were shocked at how it can take 15 minutes one hour then 40 the next. Getting back from Haleiwa was always faster then driving there.Over-all it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again!” — Hilary, July 2021 “The space was exactly like it was post, if your want to turn on the shower you will need to turn the middle knob to get the shower to come other then that we would stay here again. The best part is the geckos, they are everywhere but they eat all the bugs so just let them be” — Brian, July 2021 “Great view! Close to beaches and stores! Have cooler, beach towels, 6 beach chairs. The individual room cooling units make it easy to stay cool at night even without AC.” — Annette, July 2021 “House is clean and was just as the pictures said they actually do have AC in the rooms so that was nice.” — Oscar, July 2021 “The Treehouse is the real deal! Fantastic views of the ocean and the glorious sunsets! Peaceful and chill vibe on the hillside but accessible not only to Sunset Beach (which is right across the street) but many beaches. Plenty of room for our group of six adults and young adults to hang out and enjoy the views. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate the end of the pandemic. Thanks, Gail and Mariah!” — J.D, June 2021 “This place is a special one…. The views are amazing and the space is very comfortable. Quick walks to different beaches. Lastly Gail provides more amenities than most places which makes the stay even more comfortable.” — Jessica, June 2021 “In addition to the beautiful sunset views and excellent amenities (e.g., washer / dryer, extra snorkel equipment, beach chairs, etc.), the location is perfect to the beach, amazing snorkeling areas, and a grocery store. Everything you need for your trip! Highly recommended.” — John, June 2021 “The house was amazing. Very clean. They had beach chairs, towels, sunblock, too many extras to list. The view was breathtaking. Do not be worried about the stairs, it was nothing. I am 50 and my knee was out and I did just fine!! Would highly recommend!” — Aaron, June 2021 “Great location. Has everything we needed and close to all the things we wanted to do but far enough from the hustle and bustle.” — Giang, May 2021 “Incredible views! Loved staying up in the trees and jungle and walking to the beach. We want to come back!” — Emily, May 2021 “Awesome location!” — Nick, May 2021
